Help Build SportsRepository™
Sports knowledge is too important to leave incomplete. If you know something that belongs here — a record we missed, a profile that deserves more depth, a historical fact we got wrong — we need you.
What We're Looking For
Practitioners, researchers, and fans who can write clearly and accurately about what they know. We are not looking for superficial summaries — we are looking for depth, context, and referenced facts.
Football (Soccer)
Historical records, player profiles, league history, and iconic moments from the beautiful game.
Basketball
NBA history, player statistics, records, coaching strategies, and the global spread of the sport.
Cricket
Test match records, ODI milestones, player biographies, and the sport's rich international history.
Tennis
Grand Slam records, player profiles, historical rivalries, and the evolution of the modern game.
Formula 1
Championship histories, constructor records, circuit guides, and driver profiles across all eras.
American Football
NFL records, Super Bowl histories, franchise profiles, and the sport's cultural evolution.
How to Contribute
Write it. Send it. We handle the rest. You can submit in any format — plain text, a document, rough notes. We will verify, format, and credit you (or publish anonymously, your choice).
Write your contribution
Draft your content — a correction, a full article, a missing record, or additional context for an existing profile. Include your sources.
Send it to us
Email your draft to legal@sportsrepository.com with the subject "Contribution: [Sport]". Any format is fine.
We review and verify
Our team reviews submissions for accuracy and editorial standards. We may follow up with questions.
Published with credit
Accepted contributions are published with credit, unless you prefer to remain anonymous.
Standards for Inclusion
SportsRepository™ will be judged by what it gets right. We hold all content to the following standards:
Accurate above all
Every claim should be verifiable. Cite your source. Where there is uncertainty or conflicting records, say so explicitly.
Encyclopedic, not promotional
We document sports history objectively. Not press releases, not fan tributes — factual, referenced editorial content.
Global in perspective
Sports happen everywhere. We are as interested in the history of Indian cricket as we are in NBA dynasties.
Deep, not superficial
Avoid listicles. Give context. Explain why a record matters, not just what the number is.
